This gorilla box figurine is the first Queen Empress event-exclusive piece. It was offered at “Queen of the Jungle” events held worldwide on the last weekend of August 1999. The queen gorilla, wearing a silver tiara, nestles her baby while the king gorilla cautiously gazes forward protecting his family. He is perched atop a safari hat. Where has its wearer gone? The compass points northwest, which may offer a clue but his belongings, including a knapsack and shorts, are found within the box figurine.
